Livestock Directorate, Ministry of Production, Province of La Pampa – Federal Investment Council.

With the purpose of conducting a livestock survey in the province of La Pampa jointly with the Livestock Directory and the Ministry of Production, different technical missions to the interior of the province were undertaken.

The consultancy aimed at obtaining an approximation of the livestock inventory as well as of the state of preservation and/or conservation of cattle handling facilities. The study concluded that the province’s cattle are a highly important sectoral component of the province’s GDP. In the production sector, supported by the export meat packing plant located in the province, the study found that the provincial cattle and beef chain seizes opportunities and uses the potential of its strengths.
